Courtney Zientek is a skilled political communications and crisis management operative with experience spanning local, state, and presidential campaigns.
Most recently, Zientek served on Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot’s transition team as an advisor to the Communications and Intergovernmental Affairs teams. Zientek also provided media strategy and planning to Susana Mendoza’s 2019 mayoral campaign.
As a Senior Account Executive at A|L Media, Zientek executed complex media plans across TV, digital and radio platforms for local, state and federal campaigns during the 2018 midterm cycle. She produced award-winning digital ads for gubernatorial candidates Fred Hubbell (D-Iowa) and Stacey Abrams (D- Georgia).
In 2017, Zientek served as Research and Communications Director for the Illinois Senate Democrats, where she led efforts to recruit candidates and managed press for a record number of 14 women running for the Illinois Senate.
As a key member of Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign’s research team, Zientek worked closely with top aides to Secretary Clinton and President Bill Clinton to manage rapid response and crisis management for the campaign.
Zientek has also served on political research teams across the country, including for the Texas Democratic Party, U.S. Senator Ed Markey (D-Massachusetts) and former U.S. Senator Claire McCaskill (D- Missouri).
