“After Colton experienced some unusual swelling last fall, he at first thought it was football-related. It turned out to be an auto-immune disease and led to a short stay at the Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago.
Since then, Colton has worked raise $2,500 for the hospital.
“After being there and seeing all the kids that are sick, I decided to do something,” Colton said. “My coach, Jeff Christensen, not only taught me to play QB but also preaches the importance of giving back.””
