Starting next week, the Music Box launches their latest – and perhaps coolest yet – program, partnering with their newest Wrigleyville neighbor, The Park at Wrigley, to present popular films screened outdoors over the summer in the baseball park’s recently opened plaza.

Fresh off their World Series win, the Cubs are literally reshaping their Wrigleyville neighborhood, as new businesses, hotels, parking decks and apartments are all under construction around the ballpark. Already in place is the Park at Wrigley, a public plaza on the field’s west side, in the space created between the park, Waveland Ave. and Clark St. In the true spirit of gentrification (for better or worse), there’s a Starbucks in place; a tavern, a McDonalds and more are in the works.
