Culloton Strategies Names Jodie Shpritz

 Vice President of Media Relations and Branding

 

(Chicago) – Culloton Strategies LLC senior consultant Jodie Shpritz has been promoted to Vice President of Media Relations and Branding.

Having worked at local and global public relations and event planning firms, Shpritz brings a broad scope of experience to Culloton Strategies. This includes account management for large corporations, consumer products, environmental and nonprofit clientele, plus media relations, and event planning for a variety of high-profile companies including: McDonald’s Corp., The Hershey Company, The Anti-Cruelty Society, Redbox Automated Retail, LLC., and Midtown Athletic Club. Most recently, she handled the media relations for the Des Plaines Rivers Casino as well as The 2011 Chicago Flower and Garden Show.

 

Shpritz is a former broadcast news reporter and anchor at KMIZ/KQFX, an ABC and FOX Broadcasting Company affiliate in Columbia, Mo. Her work included covering the 9/11 attacks; the Missouri state legislature; the 2004 presidential election; Hurricane Katrina and more.

 

A graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Shpritz has won several journalistic awards, including: Society of Professional Journalists’ “Best Radio Feature”, Missouri Broadcasters Association’s “Best Spot News”, Missouri-Kansas Bureau Associated Press’ “Best Three Part Series” and The Salvation Army’s “Best News Story”.
