Magazine names several Illinois medical centers among ‘most wired hospitals’

CHICAGO (AP) — A magazine has named several Illinois medical centers among the “Most Wired Hospitals” nationwide.

The designation honors hospitals that use information technology to streamline business, cut down on medical errors and improve clinical outcomes.

CHICAGO — On paper, a matchup between two-time Cy Young Award winner Roy Halladay and journeyman Rodrigo Lopez would be over in a hurry.

At Wrigley Field on Monday, it was Halladay making an early exit in the fifth because of the heat — if not the hot night at the plate for the Cubs, who beat the Phillies 6-1.
