Children’s Memorial Hospital aids new nurses

From assisting with emergencies to administering medicines and updating patient charts, being a registered nurse can be psychologically and physically demanding.
Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago has a year-long internship program that helps newly graduated and certified nurses cope with the stresses of the job, learn their responsibilities and segue into being a full-time nurse.
