On March 8th, Michele Jochner, a partner at Schiller DuCanto & Fleck, will speak on business & entrepreneurship at Wheeling’s National Lewis University panel ‘Step it Up for Gender Equality,” striving to get women to 50-50 in education, business, and decision-making by 2030.

Jochner earned the IL Bar Associations’s 2015 Top Women Leadership Award, was recognized by the Chicago Lawyer magazine in its 2013 edition of “Women Making an Impact,” and has authored nearly 200 articles on a wide array of legal topics, including those advocating for women’s equality.

“Timed with the celebration of International Women’s Day, the conference will feature women from around the world in a discussion encouraging women’s further progress in achieving equality in education, business and careers, and decision making…

Ten speakers will be featured in the three areas at Planet 50-50 by 2030: Step It Up for Gender Equality, including some by teleconference in from as far away as Australia, Asia and Africa.

They range from Amy Philpott, former Arlington Heights Chamber of Commerce president and an entrepreneur; to Michele Jochner, an attorney with Schiller DuCanto & Fleck in Chicago.”
