Brian A. Schroeder will file an appeal to be heard by the Illinois Supreme Court following this morning’s ruling. Schroeder and his client believe the sanctity of contracts should be honored:
“People should not be forced into becoming parents when they don’t want to be, and that’s what’s being done to Jacob. He does not want these embryos used at this time,” Schroeder said.
