The Chicago Cubs opened an official team store and kicked off the Trophy tour on the Magnificent Mile today:
“The Cubs tomorrow will kick off a tour of the World Series trophy at the new store, giving fans a chance to take a photo with it between noon and 3 p.m. The trophy will also make a stop at City Hall on Dec. 15 between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. and also hit other locations around Chicago.
The team will then take the trophy tour around the Midwest, with downstate stops in Bloomington, Champaign, Freeport, the Quad Cities, Peoria, Rockford and Springfield. It will also travel to South Bend, Ind.; Indianapolis; Des Moines, Ia., and other Iowa cities.”
