RedEye Chicago reveals photos of Wrigley Field before renovations began on the ball park. The renovations, led by the Ricketts family, demonstrate that winning a World Series, and providing the team the means to do so, is their top priority:
“The Cubs documented areas all over Wrigley Field — hallways, offices, locker rooms and more — as part of the team’s 2013 application for historic preservation tax credits. The renovation project, which started in 2014 and includes an office building and hotel next to the ballpark, should continue into 2018.”
