• A total of $30,000 to the Maine West Dollars for Scholars program will fund 30 $1,000 scholarships to Oakton College-bound graduating seniors.

 

• $60,000 donation will assist in the renovation and enlargement of the culinary foods lab at West.

 

• $92,600 donation to help defray the cost of Chromebooks for students on fee waivers.

 

“They recognize the need to assist our families who struggle with the expenses of this technology,” said Principal Audrey Haugan, “and have offered their generous assistance in reimbursing the district for the expenses our families cannot cover.”
