Joan Rivers continuously reconstructed her career time and time again over half of a century. She was an actress, comedian, writer, producer and television host.  Joan spoke her mind. She was blunt and snarky and told it like it was.

As times have changed, Joan refused to sit on the sidelines and just fall in line with the status quo.  Deborah Jacobs highlighted “Six Serious Lessons From Her Career” yesterday in her article on Forbes.

Joan reinvented herself throughout the decades, from her first appearance on the Johnny Carson show in 1965 to starring in her own reality television series alongside her daughter, Melissa. Joan has touched the hearts and souls of millions of people and she will be sorely missed.  She wasn’t close to done yet…
